I am grateful to Mount Union College for many things. In some way perhaps these reflections will show even in small degree the appreciation I have for my colleagues through the years. for the administration, and most of all for the young people who came into my many classes.
We had fun. And we had learning. Certainly I learned from them... valuable, honest, reflections which I cherish.
There are some anecdotes which follow that might suggest a kind of "looking down" on these young people. Maybe I did on occasion, but in these reflections I do not want to detract in any way from their own personalities, their own achievements, and their own perspectives.
The years have been rewarding with insight, interaction, and awareness. I hope that in some degree these pages will be entertaining to read and, more importantly, effective in sharing those insights, those interactions, and those awarenesses.
We never stop learning!
