This quarterly is one of four giant-sized โdouble digestโ magazines published by Archie starting in 1981. Like the rest of the Archie digests, it reprints Archie stories from various sources in a supermarket rack-friendly size. The double digests are simply twice as thick as the others.
Archieโs Double Digest focuses primarily on the adventures of Archie Andrews, although his other friends Jughead, Betty, Veronica, Moose, and Reggie make continual appearances. The digest also includes the occasional appearance of Sabrina the Teen Witch or another member of the extended Archie Comics family, as well as an assortment of games and puzzles geared for young readers.
