Description
BLACKSTONE'S LLB LEARNING TEXTS
Given the enormity of the task that faces the average law student, it is no wonder that many of them experience extreme difficulty during their undergraduate studies. They are faced with complex legal arguments, illogical structures and confusing facts, none of which make learning the law easy.
Blackstone Press, in association with Nottingham Law School, have developed the LLB Learning Text series to overcome these difficulties. Each Learning Text contains many unique features not normally found in traditional textbooks. Each chapter contains a set of Learning Objectives, Research Activities, Self-assessment Questions and some also include End of Chapter Assessment Questions. The cases and materials referred to in the Text are contained in the companion Cases & Materials volume, which also contains answers to the End of Chapter Assessment Questions. Students can monitor and evaluate their own progress, learning and understanding of the law at their own pace, in their own place and in their own time. Used in conjunction with the companion volumes of Cases & Materials, they will literally have their own personal tutor and portable library.
CRIMINAL LAW
This Text provides students with a clear, comprehensive and readable explanation of the general principles of criminal law and of the major offences usually studied on degree and professional courses. The author uses diagrams, flow charts and numerous examples to ease the reader's path through the complexities of criminal law and provides comprehensive summaries at the end of each chapter. These innovations, coupled with the frequent use of self-assessment questions and activities, will give valuable assistance to any student of criminal law.
