It is my intention to dispel unquestioning beliefs in all sorts of unproven claims of magical, occult and mystical practices. I hope to inject a healthy dose of common sense so that people can become more sceptical of accepting incredulous claims of the supernatural. Replication by conjurers of so-called paranormal feats of spoon- bending, psychokinesis, levitation, etc. cannot disprove claims of paranormal acts, except that it can be done by trickery.
I hope that this book will help to debunk unhealthy beliefs of the supernatural so that people can go on to live a life free from unnecessary shackles of unfounded superstitions. Many readers will find many of their cherished beliefs discredited. If in the process of trying to help people to lead a less superstitious life, I offend any person, I wish to apologise in advance, for my intention is honourable.
