What's it all about? The world tipped upside down; and furthermore, why are we here in Southern India, and with Sakthi Amma? To search the internet one would find a definition. Sri Narayani Peedam is a dynamic organization led by the spiritual leader called Sakthi Amma, a young self-proclaimed avatar of the Goddess. But what does that mean? A group of us who have found ourselves staying at Sakthi Amma's Peedam, near Vellore in Tamil Nadu State, formed a morning discussion group which we call "Connect Within", in order to deepen our experiences here at Sri Narayani Peedam. We start our three-days-a-week meetings, first by saying Om Namo Narayani and then with a reading from a particular Sakthi Amma discourse pertaining to our chosen subject for that day. How could we have known that these meetings would turn into life-changing adventures within? There are tears, deep friendships and pure joy emanating from our hours together. The invisible, unconditional love energy from Sakthi Amma floats two inches above us as we free-range with open conversations.
