It was no surprise to learn that my friend and colleague at the University of South Carolina, Dr. Clifford Wilson, had written an answer to "Chariots of the Gods?" by Erich von Daniken.
Dr. Wilson is a remarkable man-world tray- eller, Lecturer of distinction, Archaeologist, Author- ity in Psycho-linguistics, Education Professor, and Bible Scholar. His unusual gifts were recognized in his being honored as an "Outstanding Educator of America" in 1971 a fitting distinction for this Australian man of learning.
He has a large listening audience to his "Word of Truth" radio program, and is the producer of a number of audio-visuals relating archaeology to the Bible. He has written several books, and this lat- est addition will be a valued contribution for a wide reading public who have wondered if there is an answer to Erich von Daniken's hypothesis that ast- ronaut-gods have visited the earth many times during the centuries,
