Description
Consonant with this effort is the present exhibition: "CYCLADIC CIVILISATION - NAXOS IN THE 3rd MILLENNIUM BC". It is based primarily on the wonderful Cycladic objects in the Naxos Archaeological Museum and the Apeiranthos Collection, together with some of those artefacts recovered from excavations on Naxos and now in the Cycladic collection of the National Archaeological Museum.
The intention is to present the visitor with a scientifically documented picture of the various aspects of life and art in Naxos in the 3rd millennium BC, and the history and archaeology of Cycladic Civilisation.
