Description
God's ideal for man is that he develops from childhood to maturity in a godly, safe and nurturing environment where he can come to know Him, love Him, and serve Him. In obedience to this divine identity and destiny, God would bless with fruitfulness, success, healing, health and wholeness. However, the reality experienced by man is a far cry from the ideal plan God has for him.
Instead of enjoying abundance, blessing, divine health and wholeness, many battle daily with issues and problems of lack, ill- health, sickness and disease, with little sign of breakthrough or success. The reason for this difference between God's ideal and human reality is sin.
Sin causes a deep separation from God, self, and others and the alienation that follows is ultimately responsible for the many sin-related activities and lifestyles that abound. These sin-related issues in turn hasten the breakdown in the spirit, soul and body harmony which is at the root of many sicknesses and diseases.
Iniquity, rebellion, and a lack of righteous living will lead to sickness and disease, but repentance, sanctification, obedience and submission to God's Word and His love will ensure a return from sin-related sickness and disease to divine health and wholeness.
