Description
This book is for students who, after about two years of learning English, know enough of the basic structure of the language to start on commercial correspondence. It explains simply the fundamentals of a business organisation and pays particular attention, with many examples, to the typical correspondence of each department. Each chapter is followed by exercises to test both the student's knowledge of commercial terms and practise his knowledge of English, and there is a valuable appendix of standard phrases for correspondence. In this third edition all the material has been revised to conform to the most modern practices.
