Description
The Twelfth Civil Service conference which was held from 3 to 4 September 2007, is an annual conference jointly organized by the National Institute of Public Administration (INTAN) and the Administrative and Diplomatic Service Association (PPTD).
The theme of the conference, "Enhancing National Competitiveness through Effective Implementation" reflects the seriousness of the public sector in addressing the issues and concerns of stakeholders as well as the general public on the need to enhance the nation's competitiveness. The objectives of the conference were to discuss key challenges in enhancing national competitiveness, develop key policy initiatives and strategies to strengthen implementation capacity, share best practices in effective implementation, and promote collaboration among the various agencies in the public sector to enhance effective implementation.
