Description
Kate thinks her life is pretty near perfect. She is engaged to Charlie, a doctor, and she's emigrating to Canada, a country she infinitely prefers to her native USA. Canada is ordered, safe, straightforward everything she values.
But things start to go wrong when Charlie doesn't come back from his Paris convention, preferring to stay with the femme fatale he meets there. Getting on a plane to fetch him back, Kate finds herself sitting next to an unshaven, garrulous, distinctly shady Frenchman called Luc. And things go from bad to worse when she can't get rid of Luc, or get hold of Charlie, or find her luggage once she's in the city of romance.
