Too many people, including those in the insurance industry, fail to appreciate the essential value of making a life while making a living. "High touch" is my capsule term for the process I have evolved throughout most of my career when trying to cope with the challenge of integrating the earning of a comfortable livelihood with the equally important goal of enjoying the fruits of my considerable efforts. It is a slow-sometimes glacially tedious-procedure, which often can be as frustrating as it certainly is rewarding. I know, thanks to 34 years of doing.
