Description
It Started in a Garden is a set of English-teaching Bible lessons based on Genesis. These are designed for people with an intermediate level of English skills who want to improve their language ability. They are suitable for those with little or no Bible knowledge, or who might be searching for a relationship with God.
The aim of the activities is to have all participants involved in speaking, writing, reading and listening. Not everyone will discuss every question, but one person should not do all the talking! Encourage one another to do more than you are comfortable with.
You who want to understand more completely the biblical truths can read the first 24 chapters of Genesis in a different translation of the Bible. Additionally, suggestions for further reading are given for each lesson.
