Description
When Tasha, an Exuberant New Yorker, and her fragile , beautiful English roommate, Kristin fall the same man at their Bohemian New England Boarding School. They naively believe they can share him.
But Peter Conaway - the ambitious Scots sculptor who becomes teacher, then lover, to them both - is not to be so easily controlled. Charismatic and chameleonlike, Peter draws the two girls into an adventure which cannot last - but which shapes their futures in ways they do not foresee.
When, years later, in the Nineties, the two women encounter each other and Peter - once again, love overwhelms friendship. And both Tasha and Kristin discover the danger in trying too hard to possess what they desire.
