Description
Many stories have been told about Arthur and his knights of the Round Table, in fact written legends of their adventures have been known for nearly a thousand years! It is said that Arthur was a British king from the west of England, who fought against the Saxon invaders of our country fifteen centuries ago, but very little is known for certain. Many beautiful songs and poems in both French and English have come from these legends; perhaps the two best known are Morte d' Arthur by Sir Thomas Malory (first published by William Caxton in 1485), and Idylls of the King by Alfred Lord Tennyson (published in 1859).The following stories are shared in this vintage edition A Son for Sir EctorMerlin the WizardKing of All EnglandPrincess GuinevereKnights of the Round TableLancelot of the LakeThe Coming of Percival
