AIl our struggles to be good and to be what God created us to be are in vain. We do not have to use our own ideas or efforts to live a life pleasing to God.
Just as Abraham believed God and it was accounted to him as righteousness (Gen 15:6), so we too as New Covenant believers have only to believe in Christ and receive what He had done for us at the cross.
Only through New Covenant circumcision of the heart can we live in total obedience to God and experience the fullness of the blessings that Christ came to give us.
