The day-to-day arena of spoken and written communication has always been a terrifying place, filled with endless possibilities for embarrassing blunders by even the most cautious.

These days it seems that those of us who want to be precise are having a harder time than ever because there is so much which is working against us. These are strong influences, and if we hear and see a word misused often enough, it takes on a certain 'correctness'.
Having been exposed to the misused vocabulary of daily communication, I have taken this effort to make a list of 'confusing words' (or rather, words that people get confused with) and compiled them into this book, Milon's Quick-Fix - Dictionary of Confusing Words & Vocabulary. to provide you, the reader, with a quick reference on the right word to use, when you are speaking or writing in English. With this book at hand, you can be more certain of the language you use when you write and speak, be it for academic, social or business purposes.
