This Bible verse came closest to describe how life could have been. Thank God, His plans worked, His will prevailed, and His peace and joy broke through and kept me sane and safeFirstly, when I recalled all those fine moments when cornered by overwhelming needs and desperation. I had to hang on to such promises."The LORD hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles." (Psalm 34:17)Remember my affliction and my wanderings, the wormwood and the gall! [metaphors used to depict very bitter experiences). My soul continually remembers it and is bowed down within me. But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end, they are new every morning: great is your faithfulness. The LORD is my portion, says my soul, therefore I will hope in him." The LORD is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him. It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD. (Lamentations 3:19-26)
