Description
Dr William Tan contracted polio when he was two and became paralysed from the waist down. Despite his handicap, and a humble family background, he went on to become a neuroscientist and a medical doctor, winning scholarships to Harvard and Oxford. He also became Singapore's best-known Paralympic wheelchair athlete. In the past 20 years, he has participated in marathons and ultramarathons all over the world, and raised millions of dollars for a large number of charitable organisations both locally and internationally. This is his first book.
