Description
These volumes present for the first time a collection of the Nobel Peace Prize addresses and lectures from 1971 to 1990, authorised by the Nobel Foundation in Stockholm and edited with the assistance of the Norwegian Nobel Institute in Oslo. This follows the authorised publication in 1971 of the volumes covering the years from the beginning in 1901 to 1970.
The texts are based upon the Nobel Foundation's annual publication, Les Prix Nobel, which prints the speeches and other basic information concerning the Nobel prizes presented the previous 10 December. On this day, the anniversary of Alfred Nobel's death, the prizes in every category are presented each year, the Peace Prize in Oslo and all the others in Stockholm.
