Description

The year is 2025. Kashmir has seceded from India and, within months, been taken over by the Taliban and allied forces. It has been transformed into a lawless region where opium is a major crop, revenues from which feed the Taliban. The Taliban needs to expand to break India. They plan to take over one of the nuclear reactors at Koodankulam, in southern India. Three men are brought together by the plan. One is Noordin, a mujahid whose childhood was spent battling Soviet forces, during their occupation of Afghanistan. He now works for the Taliban-al Qaeda alliance, and will lead the attack. The second is Ganesh Cariappa, a wealthy formen ndian Army paratrooper who runs a security agency and a vigilante operation that tries to address some loopholes in the law-enforcement system. The third is an officer of the National Investigation Agency, who has come across suspicious activity, and doesn't trust his own agency to do the needful. At their climactic meeting, these men discover that there are more layers to the operation, and other agencies behind it. ISBN:9789381506592
