When S.H. Tan stopped writing his daily column for The Malay Mail, many of his readers were baffled. Some of them jumped to the conclusion that he must have been forced to resign as his name was mentioned in connection with a court case. One of the readers was Anthony Ratos. And when Anthony or Tony as he is known to his friends -- found that S.H. had nothing to do with any court case, and so had not been asked to resign, immediately put the following advertisement in The Malay Mail:
S.H. TAN
Friends and the undersigned are relieved to know that the S.H. Tan mentioned in the recent Northrop trial is not the S.H. Tan who was the former Editor and columnist of The Malay Mail.

And so, S.H. decided to reveal why he had to abandon journalism. And what more appropriate title for his book than Now You Know to complement his other book Saya Yang Tau (I Who Know). All the articles in Now You Know are new and have not been published anywhere before.
