Description

Meet Remedy: a petite befreckled American living in Paris and working at à La Mode On-Line. Here she lusts fruitlessly after photographers, knocks out articles on tankinis and raccoon-fur trims, and makes spa-bookings and afternoon tea for the fashionistas, before slipping off to her belly-dancing class. Each lunch-time is devoted to mass at St Joe's church and each day is dedicated to one of the minor saints -- whose guidance she calls upon in her quest for spiritual enlightenment and romantic fulfilment. Having juggled the attentions of an aging acrobat, a fastidious aristocrat, and a young buckaroo, Remedy prefers to dine à deux with her pampered cat Jubilee, until her encounter with the mysterious Mouktar, a pizza-delivery-man and poet-philosopher, who just might be her man o' the moon...
