On the other side of the wall was an amazing oasis paradise! There were hundreds of fruit-bearing trees, animals running through the lush grass, and in the distance, a sparkling waterfall spewing forth cool, liquid life.
As soon as the first man saw this paradise, he jumped over the wall and ran towards the waterfall, forgetting about all his fellow travelers stranded in the harsh desert behind him.
However, the second man, upon finding the oasis, quickly took what he needed and turned back to retrieve his friends and family, fulfilling his obligations to them. He successfully saved the lives of the entire village, while the other man carelessly forgot them.
