Sinbad the Sailor

Once upon a time, in a remote country of the Far East, there lived the son of the Rajah of Kachipur, the richest Rajah in all the East. He was called Sinbad but, because he loved sailing so much, everyone knew him by his nickname, "The Sailor".

Seated in front of a window in the Palace, Sinbad the Sailor would spend hours watching the fishermen's boats, big and small, when they came back from their day's work. He forever longed for the day when he himself could go to sea. Sinbad could have lived the life of the most wealthy man on earth, but instead he longed to explore the Seven Seas. His dearest ambition was to sail round the world in search of adventure.
