Description

Laura Moreton never dreamed when she asked ex-stepbrother James for help out of a tricky situation that he'd demand payback. However a weekend in a country mansion going to a glamorous ball doesn't sound too onerous, apart from pretending to be James' girlfriend ' and she got over wanting to be that a long time ago. Before she knows it, Laura is embroiled in a tangle of jealous husbands, flighty wives, self-help gurus, sexy French firemen, self-absorbed boyfriends, ungrateful cats, demanding bosses and a stepbrother who seems set on doing something very stupid indeed.
