The Queen's Dream
A long time ago in India, there lived a king named Suddhodana and a queen named Maha Maya.
One full moon night, the Queen had a dream. In her dream, four devas carried her to a lake. They put her on a soft bed. A white elephant came. It carried a lotus flower. It went round her three times. Then it entered her body.
The next day, the Queen told the King about her dream. The King asked some wise men, "What is the meaning of the dream?" The wise men explained that the Queen was going to give birth to a prince.
