Description
The Commonwealth Broadcasting Conference is a unique meeting in the world of broadcasting. Once every two years it meets in a Commonwealth capital. Behind closed doors, the heads of radio and television from 51 nations go through technical issues like the standards of transmission, financial matters like the cost of sharing of Olympic coverage and professional questions on what is good broadcast journalism.
From the Conference which was held in Singapore in September 1976, a Kenyan, a Nigerian, a Canadian and an Indian came together and shared their very different national but common broadcasting experiences.
