A religious leader, as a vocation, is indeed one that puts himself through a rigorous training. Strengthening the power to persevere, in particular, is an inevitable discipline.
To start with, we must endure opposition from our parents, siblings, spouses and relatives, then gossip and insults from neighbors and colleagues, complaints from customers, and spiteful criticism from tabloids.
Furthermore, we must endure against the major newspapers and TV channels that exercise their right to continually neglect and ignore our efforts, no matter how hard we try. Sometimes we must also withstand oppression by the government and bureaucrats.
Also, while a religious organization develops, there will always be people in that group whose mission comes to an end. There is a need to endure against such people from holding back competent disciples who came later and obstructing the organization from the outside.
On the whole, to protect the light of Truth forever, we must keep on fighting against the common sense of society, academics and traditional religions. The extreme examples of greats in history, in these pages, shall always lift your soul.
