Fr George Kaitholil was born at Palai, South India, in 1948. He was ordained priest in the Society of St Paul in 1977. As a student he wrote several popular articles and books and edited a good many books. Fr Kaitholil holds a Diploma in Journalism from the British Institutes, Bombay; a Licentiate in Sacramental Theology from St Anselm's University, Rome, and a Doctorate in Spiritual Theology from the Gregorian University, Rome. About 3,00,000 copies of his books have been sold. He has been professor of Theology at St Joseph's Regional Seminary, Allahabad; has travelled widely and preached in many countries. At present he is General Editor of St Paul Publications and Better Yourself Books, India.
