Next to the Holy Scriptures, poetry has helped mankind more than anything I know. Poetry has brought many glorious climaxes to messages. Poetry has comforted many bereaved people through the ages. Poetry has cheered the lonely. Poetry has given hope to the hopeless. Yes, there is no limit to the power of Christian poetry.
These poems were taken from various sources. To the best of my knowledge, all copyrighted material is credited. The poems of Annie Johnson Flint are used by permission of Evangelical Publishers (see Index by Author for listing). Mrs. Martha Snell Nicholson's poem, "Home," is used by permission of Moody Press.
