Description

The idea of publishing this coffee table was mooted sometime back in 2019. Then come the Pandemic and we have all been affected in every part of the world. Each of us has a sad story to tell about Covid 19, either we have lost a family member, a friend, a colleague or someone that we know has lost someone dear.

I dedicate this book to the Late Capt Quek Peng Choi, who founded the FKK Cup tournament and also to all my friends who were affected by Covid 19.

Sports unite us in times of despair and will help us foster and heal painful memories. Sports will also help us to live a healthy lifestyle.

Badminton is our national pride and a social sport played by the young and old. have contributed much during my playing days and continue to be active in grooming young players. To succeed on a top player, one has to be dedicated and committed fully to the sport. The passion and mission of each training, sparring and competing must always be held dearly in the player's heart and mind. The fire and wanton desire to be a cannot be easily extinguished at the slightest disappointment that they face.

Such is the sacrifice and pain that a Champion has to endure before they can bask in the limelight when they retire. This book talks about my journey where my passion was re-ignited after a hiatus of 15 years from badminton. The pictures tell the last 10 years journey from 2010 till 2020 where found myself again, in badminton.

I shall continue to strive and impart my knowledge and skills to the under privileged kids of all walks of life where badminton could be a platform for them to get away from the vicious circle of poverty

Here, I like to say Thank You to my editorial and production team who has helped to make this book possible. Heartfelt appreciation to many of my fans who has sponsored this book. My good friend and Main Sponsor,

Master Lim, THANK YOU for your patience and support for this book.
