Description
Our theology, strategy, and practice of discipleship may need correction. A theology on discipleship must stand on the whole Bible instead of selected texts. Our strategy for discipleship must consider the profile of the people against the changes they face in the global landscape. The practice of discipleship should go beyond the cultivation of disciplines to the development of character, mind and emotions.
The biblical, theological, pastoral, missiological and sociological perspectives in this book address these issues head-on. It will serve to stimulate and guide thought and praxis as we disciple the people of God today.
The mission of Singapore Bible College is to glorify God by training faithful servants of Jesus Christ for the edification of the church and the urgent evangelisation of the unreached.
