This is an authorised political biography of a highly respected Malaysian statesman, Tun Haji Datuk Sardon bin Hj Jubir. Born in 1917 at Batu Pahat, Tun Sardon began his political career in 1955 when he contested in the first Parliamentary Elections of Segamat Utara constituency and was appointed Minister of Works, Post and Telecommunications.
This book discusses his role in UMNO Youth in the 1950s and early 1960s as well as his contributions to the nation while holding many important cabinet portfolios.
The book also deals with Tun Sardon's later work as Malaysia's Permanent Representative to the United Nations and as Governer of Penang.
