THE HOGARTH PUPPETS
JAN BUSSELL and his wife, ANN HOGARTH, have toured widely with the show, THE HOGARTH PUPPETS, playing in France, Holland, Belgium, Luxemburg and Germany, as well as in Poland, Rumania and Czechoslovakia.
Further afield they have toured in South Africa and New Zealand and three times in Australia. In Ghana they gave many performances and inaugurated the Ghanaian National Puppet Theatre.
They first became nationally known in England through their famous television character Muffin the Mule, but of recent years have played mainly to adults, both in the theatre and on television. They have appeared in no less than ten London theatres.
Their studio and workshops adjoin their Thames-side home at 16, Riverside, Egham, Surrey.
