This module examines general principles of criminal liability, a range of fatal and non- fatal offences against the person and selected offences against property. Attempts to commit offences, secondary liability and defences also form part of the curriculum.
This module introduces students to the aims and principles of criminal law. The module aims to provide the ability to explain and evaluate several offences and defences as well as the general principles governing liability, including the act and fault requirement.
