Description
Ways to Grammar leads students to a better understanding of grammatical forms and correct usage in English. It aims to introduce and practise the major points of English grammar and improve students' accuracy. It is intended for students from post- elementary to higher intermediate level.
The book has five main parts - the verb phrase verb complementation, the noun phrase, prepositions, and the sentence. Each part contains several numbered units, of which there are 35 in the book as a whole Features of each unit are:
โข examples and inductive exercises to allow students to work out rules of grammar for themselves;
โข a variety of graded practice exercises for consolidation;
โข a grammar summary to provide confirmation and
clarification of the grammar points. The points covered in the book can be approached by means of the Contents list at the beginning, or the alphabetical index at the end. Cross referencing is detailed and clear.
